HJC CL-16 Great Value !
The HJC CL-16 is both DOT and Snell Approved. Has pinlock system. The liner can be removed for washing.Hard to beat the value you get for the money. This is my third one.

Best helmet so far, priced well
I currently own seven helmets. I ride a Harley and have it set up for the drags. I need a helmet for ten hour a day rides. This helmet is very good indeed for the price. Good side vision, unlike my Shoei. Substantial weight however balances naturally so it is not fatiguing like my Bells. Great protection and you can feel very well wrapped in all critical directions including chin , forehead, etc. Only thing I notice is a bit of excess "boom" and noise in general. Nothing to cause ear damage or strain. I just got back from a 1,000 mile jaunt and that was the only thing. Easily fixed with accessory stuffing up around the neck. I am really impressed with this and the price is more than fair for such a high quality hat. My head shape is oval-slightly round. High forehead. No pressure points anywhere---great!

Great helmet
For the money, you cant go wrong. Good fit and comfort. Rated 4 stars due to it being a little foggy. But given riding conditions in the UP, not a real problem.

Good Helmet
Very good helmet for the price, got this one when I first started riding, and have since purchased the HJC IS-33 so that I don't have to worry about taking glasses on and off, but still prefer the CL-16 if it isn't a hot day.

very disapointed
2 complaints: This helmet is noisy, not from wind near my chin, but at the top. It's like there's a defect in the construction at the top under the shell. I have a 12 yr old hjc lt-12 full-face that is quieter than this helmet. 2nd: The screws holding in the shield mechanism vibrated out a few times, just after I got it. It happened while I was riding at night in the rain and was dangerous! I have glued them in, but still I don't trust it. One of the plastic screws broke easily while I was tightening it. Luckily it came with spares. The cl-16 is so bad I have almost thrown it in the trash can several times. It's worthless. I wear my 12 yr old helmet until I find a replacement, then I'll toss it, or drop it a few times and see what happens...

Great helmet for the price!
This helmet not only looks great but also fits and performs great! My only complaint is that it starts to pull off of your head around 90+mph. Not a great track helmet, but for street use it's perfect (nobody goes over 90 on public roads right :p ). The black helmet with the "dark smoke" shield looks really nice!

quality x2
quality of service is important when buying cycle gear. I am very impressed with Helmet city's professionalism and devotion to their customers. Oh yea. the helmet is a good fit. My last HJC CL-16 saved my skull after a major traffic accident where I was hit by a car while riding my Harley.

Excellent fit and finish. Fewer bells and whistles compared to Arai, etc. Cost makes this a best buy for a kart racer.

Service and fit just right
Even though the helmet I chose was not available right away, I got a phone call offering a similar helmet, actually an upgrade, for a good price. The fit was (is) perfect, and even though I live in Alaska, it was delivered to my door in 2 days! Unheard of in this region. I will definitely shop here again! Plus, beat ANY price in town!
