Great fitting helmet, fit was perfect, received my helmet in the time promised. Would absolutely order from Helmet City again.

quiet, secure and safe
Changed to this, my first Shoei, from a Bell open-face. Much quieter, very comfortable and snug, good ventilation and flexible face shield positioning. Visibility is excellent, contrary to my concern. Taking on and off is more difficult but OK once you get used to it. I miss the drop down sunshade of the Bell helmet but I'm glad to have SNELL 2010 protection.

Great Helmet
As usual, Shoei was the best fit for my head. Very comfortable, light and quiet (size small). Got XS cheek pads to make fit perfect, easy to change. Ventilation is acceptable, not extraordinary. Some fogging occurs during cold mornings. Opening visor to the first position fixes that, but makes helmet more noisy. Not really noticeable with earplugs. My only gripe is with Shoei, not the helmet itself; why are the multicolored / painted helmets so expensive? I want visibility and a nice looking helmet, and not have to pay $500 for it! I added some flame decals on this one - looks pretty sharp.

Good helmet
The helmet is fairly quiet but not as quiet I expected from the magazine reviews. Not quite as comfortable as my Arai Vector but the shield is much easier to use. My wife on the other hand loves hers

comfortable but loud
I would consider getting a different Shoei model now that I have driven with the Qwest on the highways around Los Angeles. The various vents used to control airflow have the tendency to whistle in different pitches depending on how you have them set and how your head is tilted in the wind. Otherwise one of the best design and comfort for the price.

Shoei Qwest
Nice looking helmet - my first full-face. Fit was a bit snug and had to exchange for a Large - still a bit tight but presume will loosen up with some use. Not that familiar with other full face helmets, but airflow doesn't seem to be that great for a $300+ helmet. Whistling noise through vents when you turn your head to the side - but understand that's not uncommon. Chin skirt helps keep wind noise down - and breath deflector keeps condensation off visor - but makes neck feel a bit warm. Probably not so bad on cold days. Loved being able to take my windshield off my Harley - but left me cleaning lots of bugs off my visor. Better than eating bugs!
