RF-1100...not much to improve upon.
This being only my 2nd helmet to have ridden in to any degree (the first being a Shark RSX), I can't say I have much ground to stand on as far as "experience" in helmets. But I will say, unequivocally, this is a helmet that has little room to improve. First of all the price is definitely on the high end. But if you're looking for all the bells and whistles you're going to pay for it. With the chin vent open I've had almost ZERO fogging (only when at a complete stop, breathing through my mouth, and at temperatures below 45 degree). I've ridden this helmet in 90 degree weather with Virginia humidity and with the vents open (which are very sturdy) I get very minimal sweating. I have small size padding and when buckled down I get no movement of the helmet. It feels very very safe. All in all I can't asks for a better helmet. Very quiet, very comfortable. Minimal wind drag when turning my head at high speeds. Just wish the price wasn't so steep.Reviewer: G.E.P (Grand Rapids, MI) 5.24.2011
Expensive but worth every cent.
The RF-1100 fits perfectly, looks great, and provides excellent protection.
