Excellent gloves for cool weather riding
I bought my Tourmaster Winter Elite gloves over the winter and have just started to use them for early spring rides here in Northern British Columbia. They work well for all day rides at temperatures down to about +4 Celcius (~40 Farenheit). Much colder than that and my fingers get uncomfortably cold. My motorcycle has handguards that shield from wind. I expect that without these I'd get cold hands more quickly. The gloves have nylon over-gloves that zip into the gauntlet. The over-gloves are actually semi-mitts, combining your index & middle fingers, and your ring & pinky fingers. The leather is supple, and the lining feels soft and luxurious. The gloves are very comfortable. They claim to be waterproof but I haven't tried them in the rain yet. But the gloves are leather, so I doubt that they would keep dry if ridden in the rain all day. I'm guessing 2 hours. The gloves fit small. for ski gloves I normally wear large. For the Tourmaster Elite gloves I bought extra large and they fit perfectly.
