I have been riding for 30 years this is the best helmet I have ever had bar none. Everything on it works better than expected . I ordered an extra shield and swapping them out was a snap! This helmet fits perfect ! I ordered the same size I have always worn and it’s just right. I like to ride with ear buds and listen to my MP3 player and I was worried they wouldn’t fit . Not only do they fit , they sound even better than before . I believe it’s due to the nice padding in the new helmet . I would recommend this helmet to anyone. I have ordered another one for my wife to match mine.

It actually is three positions apart from "off." First is not quite to the stop, the second is at the stop, and the third is past the stop, enabled by pressing the release button while sliding the actuator forward.
Helmet is an outstanding value in terms of features and quality/$.

This is my fourth HJC helmet, and the first time I've had to go to a large, the medium has always fit me but the medium in this one puts the chinbar actually touching my chin. It's a little bit noisy, as are most flip-face helmets, and the sun visor mechanism adds a little rattle; but if you wear earplugs, as I do, it's not bad.
But speaking of the sunvisor, which is very good, the advertising is deceptive. It says it's a "3 position sun shield", but those 3 positions are 1.off (retracted) 2. on (extended) and 3. removal (fully extended for shield removal). So, it's really only a one-position sunshield. But it works fine and is easy to use. My final review is the title - pretty good for the price, which is $80 less than the lighter fiberglass Symax II, and much, much cheaper than competing brands such as Nolan and Schuberth
