Excellent Shoei helmet in my books!
I don't think there is a better modular helmet out there. At first glance you can't really tell that it is a modular helmet which is what I wanted. I never owned a modular helmet before but it seems like the best fit for my type of riding. The latching mechanism is so easy to operate with barely any effort. It slides right into place making it easy to adjust when I'm in a hurry! I also feel like my Shoei Multitec modular helmet is more durable but that is expected with Shoei helmets. Overall this is a great modular helmet. You get the luxury of having a modular helmet that is actually lightweight. I almost decided not to go with the modular option because all the reviews I read said they are too heavy and uncomfortable. I would recommend the Multitec helmet to anyone who is considering a modular helmet but can't find one that doesn't look unattractive and isn't too heavy. The Shoei Multitec helmet really does make your ride more enjoyable. And I would also recommend splurging on the pinlcok insert. You shield fogging problems with disappear!
