Some say...
Very nice helmet. Fits perfectly and is very distinctive. Shield doesn't change very quickly and requires tools, and the closure takes some getting used to, but for the look and the money, it's hard to beat.Reviewer: Sean Coleman (berkeley, california) 3.26.2012

Love my Simpson Outlaw
Great fit, high peripheral visibility, excellent breathability due to forward ports. Chin strap is easy to grab and fasten. The functionality, Snell and Dot Ratings all make the Simpson Outlaw an excellent helmet, but what I love most about it is the styling. Very cool.Very, very cool. I should also mention how quiet this helmet is. I noticed how little "whistle" there was from the wind at freeway speeds. Plus this helmet NEVER fogs on me! I would recommend the Simpson Outlaw Bandit whether you're riding the on the street, freeway or carving the canyon. Thanks again, Sean ColemanReviewer: Matt (Dallas, TX) 4.5.2011

A Solid Helmet
I was skeptical at first to get this helmet because I couldn't find many reviews, so let me add one. It is a very nice looking helmet. It is very light and doesn't have any lift at high speeds. If you are the type of rider that likes to turn and look, don't be concerned with this helmet hindering you. The peripheral vision is superb. And I don't know what's up with the smoke visor, but it's easy to see out of at night. Out of 1 to 10 I give this helmet a 10. The only 2 problems that I have with it is the strap, I need to do modifications myself. It needs a snap for the access length. And at hotter temps, since the only ventilation is at the front it gets a little warm. But there is enough space in there that it doesn't suffocate you. Working the visor locking mechanism on it takes a little getting used to, but it's solid and much easier to do when it's on your head. If they ever come out with another version of this helmet it would be better with open and closing vents and a different style of strap. I have used Scorpion, Bell, Shoei, Icon, and some others and I am very pleased with this helmet. If you are thinking about getting this helmet, I'd say get it, you will not be disappointed.
