Initial Impressions
As I have not yet ridden with this jacket I can only comment on the size and fit. I ordered a 44 - Large. As far as construction is concerned - I give this 5 stars - for the level of stitching, attention to detail, quality of the leather and fabrication. All round this is a great jacket for the price. Comfort - I am 5' 11' and 193lbs, fit, square shoulders, 34" waist, 42" chest. I find that it is roomy in the chest, the arms fit perfectly and the length goes just to the top of my hips. I can reach forward without any restriction, no pull in the arms; they don't want to ride up. The armour lines up perfectly where it needs to be, although the back piece is kinda cheap - at least it is there and I can upgrade it. There are plenty of zippers and pockets, all with vented lining to increase air flow. Collar fits nice, don't even notice it. Overall impressions: Amazing value for the price, I will probably be ordering the full one (without perforations) because it is such a nice jacket. I am not sure if I should have ordered the 42", it would be a close call, I went with other advice I have seen, to order one size larger, and it seems to have worked. Note: This jacket does not come with the liner in it, nor does is have the 3M reflective piping like many people says it does.
