Other stores would list it in stock, I'd order it, and then wait forever to hear from them that it was backordered. But you always respond right away to my e-mails, and made a bad purchase (do to KBC's endless delays) into something bearable. Despite the frustration that stemmed from the helmet, I just wanted to say thank you. I got the helmet, and after riding around in it for a bit, I really love it. What really struck me during this whole transaction was your level of customer service. As you said over the phone with me, you pride yourself in providing quality service. Usually businesses pay lip service to this end, but I can honestly say that your service was first rate. Given what happened, I normally would have canceled my order, never deal with the business again. But you were very accommodating, and forthcoming; it definitely made an impression.
Oh by the way, I've already placed another order - and probably will continue to in the future...so long as this first transaction was a fluke :o)

Ordinarily, shipments to Hawaii are outrageous, but Helmet City offers free shipping, even to Hawaii! I ordered on Monday and received my shipment Friday afternoon. No more 7-10 day UPS ground shipping like the other guys.

You ask any of my colleagues and they will tell you I could complain about a sunny day. On 10/17 I ordered a synergy heated jacket liner from Helmetcity. It arrived in 2 days...nice! Unfortunately, the liner has some controller problems and will only work sporadically. I phoned Helmetcity this morning and informed Emily of the problem. Emily was most courteous and helpful. While I was on the phone she actually contacted Tourmaster and a new controller for the jacket will be going out today. Nice Job!

As you know, we are flying to Phoenix from the Bay Area to pick up our new Harley Sportster. So timing was very important to us as we needed to purchase the helmets before our flight. Not only did you help me pick out the best helmet for our trip and driving conditions, but you also helped with sizing (even over the phone!!!). You also gave us better pricing and a much better selection than all of the other motorcycle dealers in the Bay Area that we went to. Further, you gave us your special promotion where "HelmetCity" pays the sales tax and you included free overnight shipping. You sent us the order and tracking info via email, and Kyle also telephoned us to give us the tracking number and to let us know that our helmets were waiting for us at UPS.
The helmets arrived the next morning and my wife and I couldn't be happier – I told her that there must be some mistake; the box was so light it couldn't contain two helmets. But sure enough, we opened the package and there were two brand new, beautiful Shoei Anthracite helmets each in their own very nice carrying bag. I can't believe how light these helmets are. I recently purchased an EXO-200 Scorpion helmet(xl) from you folks. After trying it on I felt it was too tight in the cheek area. Called you and ordered a 2xl and returned the xl. The 2xl arrived today and was too loose. I called and was directed to Kyle. I explained my situation and he stated he would send me a new xl liner as the outer shell was the same for xl & 2xl.

It has been some years since I needed a new street bike helmet, but the last
one I purchased from Helmet City and was quite happy. I looked them up and
once again found the selection and stock second to none.
A quick phone call to Kyle and I learned they had the helmets I wanted in
stock, in the sizes and colors I wanted – Simple! He explained a few of the
features to me I was unfamiliar with and his product knowledge was
impressive.
I placed my order for two Shoei helmets and then added the breath guard and
chin curtain to each helmet as I like these features. When they packed my
order, they found that each new helmet came with these items already, so
instead of mindlessly charging me and inserting the double items into my
order, they removed the duplicated items and only charged me the lower price
for the revised order.
I was very impressed with this dynamic change made by folks that saw the
order and knew this item shipped with these accessories already, and looked
out for my money and I. Customer service this good is a rare thing these
days in a world of automated order processes.
Finally, I was going to need the helmets for a ride the upcoming weekend,
and was going to upgrade the shipping so they would arrive in time. Not to
worry, Kyle checked the warehouse closest to me and found our helmets, and
then checked the ship time and told me they would arrive with standard
shipping in time!
If you are shopping for a new helmet, I suggest enjoying the ethical buying
experience you will have at Helmet City, you could do no better than they.
Kyle and the folks there are truly a pleasure to deal with.

I received my helmet today, from CA to NY in 3 days!!! I have had top of the line helmets, but I threw this one on and could fall asleep in it. I ordered my helmet on Thursday afternoon, and it arrived on Friday; now I realize that living in the same state (California) helps my shipping times, but in order for this helmet to have gotten to me in 1 day (from Oakland to Los Angeles) it must have been shipped the same day. Thanks again for your great service. My new KBC Force S Airbore arrived just when you said it would. It fit perfect, it looked better than the picture on the web, and the ventilation is excellent. I brought the helmet to probably it's first race win in the country...the World Formula division of Karting at Desert Park Raceway in Reno Nevada. Everyone liked the helmet, and I think this is going to be a good seller (I liked it because it goes with my Air Force background). I also like the increased field of vision over basic automotive helmets. Untill I run full road courses again, I think I'm going to continue using motorcycle helmets.
